Quanhua Museum
Quanhua Museum, founded in June 2006, is located in a late Qing Dynasty residential building in Xijing Street, Zhujiajiao ancient town. It is the first watercolor painting museum in China. Chen Xidan is the founder and curator of the Art Museum. Born in Shanghai in 1936, Mr. Chen's works have won numerous international and domestic awards. The museum has a collection of Mr. Chen’s wonderful paintings with Zhujiajiao as the theme, and displays the works of excellent domestic and foreign watercolor painters from time to time. It also has held "Shanghai Zhujiajiao International Watercolor Biennale" twice, which has a far-reaching significance to promote the development of Chinese watercolor painting.
