Jingting Homestay is located at No. 56 Xijing Street, Zhujiajiao. It was once a Yang's ancient residence and was one of the first registered immovable cultural relics in Shanghai. This traditional brick and wood residential building in the south of the Yangtze River was built at the end of the 19th century, with three entrances and two landings in a courtyard pattern. It has a green tile gable roof and a towering southern wall. Following the principle of restoring the old as it is, the building has preserved its antique charm after restoration, optimized its functional settings, and made it more livable. It has become the first homestay hotel in the ancient town to have a "Qingpu District Homestay Registration Certificate".

Jingting Courtyard (Yangzhai) is located at No. 54-56 Xijing Street, Zhujiajiao, an ancient town in Jiangnan, at the foot of Zhonglong Bridge (commonly known as Zhongqiao). Located facing east and west, with a brick and wood structure, it is a courtyard style building with a total area of over 600 square meters. The scale is enormous, and it is one of the few existing old residential buildings in Zhujiajiao Town.
This house was built in the late 19th century and was originally owned by Zhou. It was sold to Yang Yunchang in the 1930s and later passed on to his son Yang Xuezu. It was used to open a wheat shop (storefront) and home furnishings. This historically protected building, "Yang's Residence," was built in the Qing Dynasty. Except for most of the San Dai area, which was reserved for the owners, the rest of the houses were "renovated" in the 1960s and the property rights were transferred from private to public. And it was declared as an immovable cultural relic by Qingpu District in 2004.

This house has a history of over a hundred years and has been well preserved to this day. It has not undergone significant changes and has not shown any signs of aging. It has been carefully crafted and transformed into a first-class scenic homestay in the ancient town. There are multiple room types for you to choose from, all of which are newly renovated within the original building structure, giving people a unique feeling of combining antiquity and modernity. The rooms are comfortable and warm, with modern and practical facilities. It is now named "Jingting Homestay" and is open for business.

The residential areas of Toudai and Sidai are bungalows, while Erdai and Sandai are high-rise buildings. The courtyard is 11.6 meters wide and has a total depth of over 50 meters. Among them, Toudai is 10.6 meters long, Erdai and Sandai are 9.4 meters long each. The middle of Erdai is the guest hall, the middle of Sandai is the hall, and Sidai is a small house used as a firewood room. Except for the fourth dai, all other houses in Sandai are connected by wing rooms.
The wing room between Erdai and Sandai retains the original items from its construction - six floor to ceiling long windows with floral patterns, which are antique and authentic. The middle part of this wing room was once a "smoking room" for smoking opium, and the left and right sides are separated by immovable wooden cabinets, with an area of 6-7 square meters. There is still a wooden kitchen in its original location. There is a corridor built on the outside of this wing room, with eaves flower boards and curved arm eaves supports. Carvings are rarely seen on the beams and wood of the entire building. On the south facade of the wind and fire wall between Erdai and Sandai, there are three double coin flower holes decorated, and the east side of Sandai is decorated with a ring door.

This is a re polished old building that radiates its unique brilliance, combining the charm of an old house with the convenience of a modern residence. Every detail reflects the ancient folk customs and highly refined aesthetic of life. The hall, courtyard, and courtyard are antique and full of scenery. Leaning against the door and sliding the window, one already feels like being in a Ming and Qing Dynasty costume drama.
