水彩画是一门易学难精的视觉艺术。
2010年首届“上海朱家角国际水彩画双年展”成功举办后，上海朱家角搭建了一个良好的国际水彩画交流平台。中国水彩画家逐步从朱家角走向世界。国际水彩画家的目光也开始注意了这个中国的朱家角。
“国际水彩画大师系列展”第三段。此阶段分别展出：10月16日-11月15日为“英国画家约翰•雅德理作品展” 近作30幅。
英国画家雅德理的作品则是炉火纯青。他的画简约概括，用笔肯定。他继承和发扬了传统英国水彩画的特色，展现了自身的高雅和自信，且有十足的绅士风度。

John Yardley Solo Show
Watercolour is the kind of visual art that is easy to learn but difficult to master.
Since the successful launch of the ‘Shanghai Zhujiajiao International Watercolour Biennial Exhibition’ in 2010, Zhujiajiao has shaped up to be a popular gathering place for international watercolours. Not only has Zhujiajiao attracted attention from watercolour circles around the world, but also has served as gateway from which Chinese artists are entering the international arena.
Exhibitions scheduled for this year are:16th October – 15th November: ‘John Yardley Solo Show – Sunlight and Shadows’.
Not only has John carried on the heritages of British watercolours, he has also promoted and enhanced these traditions. His paintings are concise and confident; elegant and charming. His handling of brushes is to the perfection.
