澳大利亚画家布莱恩•斯德拉敦作品展

2010年首届“上海朱家角国际水彩画双年展”成功举办后，上海朱家角搭建了一个良好的国际水彩画交流平台。中国水彩画家逐步从朱家角走向世界。国际水彩画家的目光也开始注意了这个中国的朱家角。
2011年8月16日-9月15日为“澳大利亚画家布莱恩•斯德拉敦作品展”近作30幅。
澳大利亚画家布莱恩有着非常强的掌控全局的能力。他能赋予杂乱无章的石块和树枝以生命。相同的主题，给人的感觉却各不相同，色彩丰富，画面生动，主次分明。
画家取材各异，风格不同，表现手法鲜明，个性特别张扬。他们的展览将给我们一次赏心悦目的艺术享受，希望大家喜欢。
Brian Stratton Solo Show – Sand, Stick, and Stone
Watercolour is the kind of visual art that is easy to learn but difficult to master.
Since the successful launch of the ‘Shanghai Zhujiajiao International Watercolour Biennial Exhibition’ in 2010, Zhujiajiao has shaped up to be a popular gathering place for international watercolours. Not only has Zhujiajiao attracted attention from watercolour circles around the world, but also has served as gateway from which Chinese artists are entering the international arena.
16th August – 15th September: ‘Brian Stratton Solo Show – Sand, Stick, and Stone’
Brian has exceptional control over values and compositions. He has superb mastery of colour tones and shades. He bestows life to the seemingly messy and random rocks and sticks. Even with the same subject matter, each painting conveys different atmosphere and feelings.
